Christian Growth Opportunities:
The Friendship Class meets on the lower level at 9:15 AM Sunday mornings to discuss the book "The Heavenly Man", by James Moore. All are welcome. Books can be ordered at the class.
Following the Children's Sermon, children are dismissed to Sunday School class.Ash Wednesday
The community is invited to a noontime prayer service with open communion on Ash Wednesday led by Pastor Bill Meyer. The service will last about 1/2 hour and will be followed by a soup lunch in Fellowship Hall. People are welcome to bring brown bag lunches to eat in addtion to our soup.
Lenten Prayer Services
There will be a noontime prayer service with open communion each Wednesday in Lent.
(soup only on Ash Wednesday.)
Good Friday services will be led by the Stow Clergy Association at noon at The Church in Silver Lake on Kent Road.
Spaghetti for Haiti
At our February 19 Spaghetti Dinner only, we will be accepting a voluntary $3 surcharge on adult dinners which will be donated to Church World Service through One Great Hour of Sharing. 100% of the offering will be given to earchquake relief in Haiti.
